英語が苦手な私は、メールのエラーが帰った時に 「あれ？このエラーなんだったけ？」と？がちらつくことがしばしば。 そんなわけで、ついでにSMTPのシステム応答コードを表にまとめてみました。

| 354 | Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF> | メールを入力してください。<改行>.<改行>で終了します。 |
| 421 | [domain] Service not available, closing transmission channel | サービスは利用不可なので接続を閉じます。 |
| 450 | Requested mail action not taken: mailbox unavailable | メールボックスが利用不可なので処理はできません。 |
| 451 | Requested action aborted: error in processing | 処理中にエラーが発生したので処理は失敗しました。 |
| 452 | Requested action not taken: insufficient system storage | ディスクの空き領域不足なので処理はできません。 |
| 500 | Syntax error, command unrecognized | 文法が間違っています。 |
